Krtsanisi Park, located between Tbilisi and Rustavi, was established in 1958. This 200-hectare recreational area represents the natural floodplain ecosystem of the Mtkvari River and boasts a great diversity of flora and fauna.

Throughout the year, more than 100 species of resident and migratory birds gather in Krtsanisi Park, including the Caucasian pheasant, which is listed in the Red Book. As a result, the park is one of the best destinations for birdwatching enthusiasts.

The beautifully tree-lined trails are perfect for walking or cycling, as well as for picnics, and educational tours.
